-Welcome, our meetings are usually held on the first Tuesday of each month, so our next meeting will be on February 2nd. We have decided to have our meetings at the town office so we can save money by not heating the club house. Potluck supper starts at 6:30, with the meeting starting at 7:00. Everyone is welcome, so please come and support our club and our sport. |
The February Norway Trackers meeting was held on the 2nd in the Norway Town Hall, with a large group (23 people) in attendance. The pot luck selection was also fabulous! We spent most of the meeting talking about the previous weekend's Snow Fest and Chowder Fest. By all accounts it was a successful and fun weekend, and it looks like we did about as well as in prior years despite the slightly lower than usual attendance (which we think was largely because of lack of snow). Race results are available on the website. We also discussed changing the format of next year's Chowder Fest and doing something different, such as having chowder and chili available at the snack shack on the ice instead of in the schoolhouse. We also discussed having fund raisers at other times of the year, such as a pig roast in summer, a table at the Norway Summer Arts Festival, a Texas Hold 'Em, selling sweat shirts with the club logo, among others. If you have any ideas please submit them. We're also planning a group ride for Sunday, March 7th. Meet at Ken and Diane Gammon's at 9:00 a.m. Our next meeting will be March 2nd.
